HIGH SCHOOL: Football standout at Verona High... earned first-team Big Eight all-conference honor as a senior team captain, rushing for 1,072 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 5.6 yards per carry.

PERSONAL: Majoring in fitness, wellness and leadership... son of Simon and Deanna Engram... has a brother, Dean, and a sister, Phoebe... father, Simon "Bobby" Engram, played 14 years in the National Football League, making 650 catches for 7,751 yards and 35 touchdowns with the Bears, Seahawks and Chiefs, now serving as an assistant coach for the Washington Commanders... brother, Dean, played football and the University of Wisconsin.
