Biography

Brad Simons has been named the Director of Ticketing and Premium Seating for the Towson University Athletics Department, Assistant Director of Athletics for Fan Development Mike Hollis announced.

“We look forward to utilizing Brad's five years of ticket operations experience during a critical time for our department,” said Hollis. “With the new Tiger Arena, he will be leaned on to make important decisions to keep our ticket office structured and organized. We know that Brad will be able to help us continue to provide top-notch customer service as we grow our fan base.”

Simons joins the Tigers from the University of South Dakota, where he spent the last five years as the Coordinator of Ticket Operations and Sales. At South Dakota, he helped the Coyotes transition from Division II to Division I status. Simons managed season, single-game, student, online and player guest ticketing. He served as the primary ticket manager for all South Dakota athletic events as well as for the South Dakota High School Football Championships. Simons managed the day-to-day operations of the ticket office while organizing season and group ticketing campaigns.

Prior to his time at South Dakota, he spent nine months working as an arena operations and retail intern for the Orlando Magic. There Simons aided with all arena game day preparations, maintained inventory and provided customer service in retail booths during home games. He also assisted in design, visual displays and promotions as well as working as a part-time manager at the Orlando Magic outlet store.

Simons earned a Bachelor of Science in recreation from the University of South Dakota in May of 2007. While he was an undergraduate, he was an operations intern for the Sioux Falls Storm. There he produced and implemented game day events scheduled, organized and assisted with arena operations and provided assistance with general customer service.

He earned a Masters of Science in apparel and textiles from Kansas State University in December of 2012.
