Biography

Ben Crawford joins the Towson Sports Medicine staff after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minn.
 
While at Saint John's, he was responsible for the overall healthcare of the mens' ice hockey, track and field, and football teams.
 
Crawford graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in athletic training. During his time as an undergraduate student he worked with both Division I men's and women's ice hockey, along with Division II women's soccer, baseball, football, and men's and women's basketball. 

He earned his Master's of Science in exercise science and health promotion with an emphasis in rehabilitative sciences from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013.  During his time as a graduate assistant he also served as a teaching assistant in St. Cloud State's CAATE-approved athletic training education program.  
 
Crawford is a BOCATC certified athletic trainer and is also certified as a corrective exercise specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA).  
 
Crawford has volunteered as an athletic trainer at the last three USA U14/15 and U16/17 girl's player developmental camps and U15 MN boy's high performance ice hockey camps held at St. Cloud State every summer.
