Towson University Athletics

Chris Martin is a 2005 graduate of Westfield (Mass.) State College. He then attended the University of Massachusetts where he earned a Master of Science degree in kinesiology.

Prior to attending graduate school Chris was the athletic trainer at Putnam Vocational Technical High School for a year and at Endicott College for a year where he was assigned to the field hockey, men's volleyball and softball teams.

While at UMass he worked as a graduate assistant athletics trainer with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

A native of Athol, Mass., Chris attended Athol High School where he was a three sport letter winner as an outfielder on the baseball squad, a goalie on the soccer team and a sprinter on the track squad. He was captain of the Red Raiders' indoor track team in his senior year.

At Westfield Chris lettered in track as a sprinter, running the 100 and 200 meter dashes. The Owls won the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference track championship all three years of his participation.

At Towson Chris is assigned to women's soccer and baseball.
