Dr Kari Kindschi, MD, is a board-certified fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician at the Arnold Palmer Sports Health Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

Specializing in the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, Dr. Kindschi is an expert in medical issues that are specific to sports and exercise in athletes and active patients of all ages and skill levels.

Dr. Kindschi earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine, where she was elected chief resident, and continued her medical training as a primary care sports medicine fellow at Duke University Medical Center.

Dr. Kindschi serves as the head team physician and the medical director for the athletic training education program at Towson University.

She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and is currently pursuing a master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
