Biography

One of the most talented offensive linemen ever to play for the Tigers, John Gaburick '89 was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame in 2006.

He was a four-year starter at offensive center from 1985 to 1988. An honorable mention All-American as a sophomore, Gaburick was named first team All-ECAC and he helped the Tigers earn a berth in the NCAA Division II playoffs. His 1986 Tigers also won their third Lambert Award as the top team in the East.

A Calvert Hall High School (Md.) graduate, he was one of Towson's leaders in its first two seasons of competition at the NCAA Division I-AA level.

For the last 12 years, he has been one of the top producers at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). After producing the WWE TV series “Raw is War” and “WWF Smackdown,” he landed his own show in 2001.

Over the next four years, he was the producer of the very popular TV series “Tough Enough.” In addition to serving as the producer and talent manager for the series, he was the star and host of the show, “Big.”
