Oliver Brown

Oliver Brown is entering his third year with the Towson University men’s basketball program and his second as the Director of Basketball Operations.

As Towson’s Director of Operations, Brown oversees all day-to-day aspects of the Tiger program. He handles team travel arrangements, schedules games, coordinates practices and oversees the basketball managers.  Brown was also responsible for coordinating all aspects of Towson’s recent summer trip to Montreal.

He also oversees the Towson Basketball team and individual summer camps, while assisting in video breakdown, film exchange and scouting upcoming opponents.

Brown was the Tigers Director of Student-Athlete Development during the 2015-16 season. He was a key part of helping Towson win at least 20 games for the third time in four years. Brown coordinated all things relating to technology, worked with assistant coaches to prepare and finalize all scouting films, created daily edits from practice to share with players and staff members and spearheaded community service efforts.
 
He also successfully oversaw an academic game plan for the men’s basketball program and he evaluated and made edits on all targeted recruits.
 
Before Brown came to Towson, he worked two years as a graduate manager at Mount St. Mary’s. In his role with the Mountaineers, Brown handled all of the video and social media responsibilities for the coaching staff.  In addition, he played an important part in the daily improvement of the players, especially in skill work.  He also oversaw the nutritional game plans for all of the student-athletes on the squad.
    
Brown was a member of the Mount St. Mary’s men’s basketball team from 2009-13. Brown was a graduate assistant for the 2014 Mount St. Mary’s squad that won the Northeast Conference and competed in the NCAA Tournament.

Brown graduated from MSM in 2013 with a degree in business management.  He earned his MBA from MSM in 2015.
