2008-09 SEASON: Jimmy, Jarrel's brother, was sidelined for almost the entire season with a chronic knee condition. He has been cleared for full practice and game action ... saw the only action of his college career at Georgia State, playing 5 minutes and grabbing 2 rebounds.

2007-08 SEASON: Transferred from Colorado State and sat out the season per the NCAA transfer rule. He did not play at CSU.

AT BIRMINGHAM H.S.: Averaged 10.0 points per game his junior year at Birmingham ... his early career was plagued by knee problems ... due to the surgeries he missed a lot of school ... coached by Andre McCarter at Birminham, the starting point guard at UCLA on John Wooden's final national championship team in 1975 ... Jimmy and his younger brother, Jarrel, have played together since high school as members of the same teams at Birmingham, Colorado State and now Towson.
