2007-08 SEASON: Rick took a red shirt year for 2007-08. 

AT HARRISBURG H.S.: Scored over 1,200 points in his high school career ... averaged 14.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for the 28-3 Cougars his senior year ... averaged 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds in his junior year ... played varsity all four years ... with Rick as a starter the Cougars were a combined 88-7, a mark that included a 49-0 record in league play ... he was an All-Conference selection three straight years and All-District too ... “Towson is getting a very aggressive, strong athlete who will do very well at his natural position at the next level,” says Harrisburg coach, Kirk Smallwood ...played in the Charm City Challenge for the US All-Stars at the Towson Center, scoring 12 points in 18 minutes ... scored his career high of 28 points several times ...
