Maranda Scott joined the Towson academic office in August of 2018. She works mainly with the men's basketball and gymnastics teams.
Among her duties include providing academic support, advising for student-athletes and overseeing selection of courses and and NCAA progress-toward-degree requirement.
Scott came to Towson after being an academic advisor at Coastal Carolina for two years, working primarily with men's basketball, women's basketball and softball. She also worked for the student-athlete development office, the athletic business office and the athletic communications while at West Virginia.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in sport and exercise psychology in 2015 and a Master of Science in sport management in 2016, each from West Virginia.
