Biography
2022-23: Played in the Ross Collegiate Classic as an individual, having rounds of 79 and 80…competed in the PGA Works Collegiate Championship as an individual, placing 15th and shooting a season low 78 during the first round… named to the CAA Commissioners Honor Roll for fall semester.
Prior to Towson: Two-time Mexico Regional Champion (2018-19 & 2020-21)… top-25 ranked player in Mexico for the last four years… 2021 El Campanario Club de Golf Champion… two-time participant in the Mexico Professional Golf Tour… competed in the 2021 AJGA Colorado Springs Junior… tied for second place in the 2022 Lorena Ochoa National Championship.
Personal: Son of Miguel Murguia and Maria Eugenia Garza… has two older brothers, Diego and Pablo… majoring in business management… has been involved with helping his community since elementary school, most recently helped local school recollect and organize food for communities.
