2024-25: Competed in 24 rounds of play this season averaging a 74.96, third best on the team … posted five under-par rounds this season, tied for most on the team … shot a career low 66 in round one of the Howard/USF Intercollegiate in September (71-66-70) … placed fourth individually in the Howard/USF Intercollegiate with a final score of 3-under par, the best individual placement of the season and only under-par tournament from a Towson golfer this season … was twice Towson’s top finisher this season; in the Howard/USF Intercollegiate and the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational (76-81-70).

2023-24: Competed in 25 rounds of play, averaging 74.76…shot a collegiate career-low 69 (-2) at the Southern Invitational in April…was the team’s top finisher at two tournaments; the Southern Invitational (71-69-71) where he tied for fifth place and CAA Championships (75-74-72).

Prior to Towson: Won 2023 Massachusetts State Amateur Qualifier…earned multiple top 5 finishes in Challenge Cup tournaments…2022 individual champion of his high school league…helped lead team to Conference Championships his junior and senior year.

Personal: Son of Jeffrey and Darlene Matheson, has an older sister and brother, Miranda and Nate…volunteered for the PGA Jr. League and NewLife Furniture Bank…aspires to play high level amateur/pro golf…roots for all Boston teams…favorite athlete is Patrice Bergeron.
