Biography
2021: Served as Towson’s SAAC President … earned CAA Leadership & Sport Excellence Award winner ... saw the field in 12 games, making one stat at midfield against No. 13 Delaware (April 24) … scored three points on two goals and one assist … had first career multi-point outing in an overtime win over Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 13) ...grabbed 10 ground balls and did not serve a penalty all season.
2020 Season: Played in two games as a junior midfielder … made season debut at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 8) … took one shot against the Blue Jays … also saw time at UMBC (March 3).
2019 Season: Saw the field in 12 games as a sophomore midfielder … played primarily with the second midfield unit … logged six points on one goal and five assists … registered first career point with a helper against No. 7 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 9) in the season opener … notched helpers in five different games in 2019 … took 10 total shots, with six on frame … grabbed two ground balls, both coming at No. 2 Duke (March 16) … served one 60 second penalty against Delaware (May 2) in the CAA Tournament.
2018 Season: Played in six games as a true freshman in the midfield … made his collegiate debut against No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 10) … took one shot against the Blue Jays … took three total shots, with one attempt against Hofstra (March 31) and Drexel (April 6) … grabbed first collegiate ground ball against Delaware (April 21).
High School: Played midfield at La Costa Canyon High School for head coaches Kevin Cooper and Jesse Foss … earned San Diego Union Tribune/Hall of Champions Lacrosse Player of the Year … won several additional honors in 2017 including Mall Scholar of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Team MVP and was a team captain … Named first and second team All-CIF during his scholastic career … led team to CIF titles in 2015 and 2017 …named Adrenaline All-American … earned all-league honors in 2016 and 2017 … off the field, member of the Nation Honors Society and California Scholastic Federation.
Personal: Full name is Andrew Beacham … prefers to go by Andrew … son of Dave Beacham and Alice Blash-Beacham … has two brothers, Noah and Ben … most admires his parents … hobbies include golf, skiing, body surfing and spike ball … favorite memory is winning the Open Division CIF Championship as a senior … majoring in finance at Towson.
