2016 Season: Started at close defense in all 19 games during his senior campaign … caused eight opponent turnovers … snagged 39 groundballs, including five against Fairfield (May 7) in the Tigers’ 4-2 win to clinch the CAA Championship … also grabbed a season-high five against Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 20) … backed the best scoring defense in the country as Towson allowed just 7.26 goals per game.

2015 Season: Logged time as a close defenseman in 10 games, including eight starts … suffered an injury midseason but returned for CAA Tournament against Drexel (April 30) … started final two games of the year in the NCAA Tournament against High Point (May 6) and at No. 2 Notre Dame (May 9) … had 20 groundballs, including six at Navy (March 3) … forced four turnovers, including two at Notre Dame in the NCAA First Round … did not take a penalty while playing on a top five defense.

2014 Season: Saw action in three games - at No. 9 Loyola, at home against Mount St. Mary's and at home against No. 10 Penn.

2013 Season: Played in one game against St. Joseph's on April 27 ...Picked up one ground ball against St. Joseph’s … gained valuable experience in practice.

At Irondequoit H.S.: Played for Coach Craig Whipple and the Eagles ... named first team all-county, All-Greater Rochester (AGR), first team all-league on defense and first team all-section five as a senior team captain ... named to the Rochester Senior All-Star game ... earned second team honors on defense as a sophomore and a junior ... team captain for the ice hockey team ... also named honorable mention AGR and first team all-county for ice hockey ... three-year scholar athlete.

Personal: Roots for the Buffalo Bills and New Jersey Devils ... favorite athlete is Zach Parise ... lists beating Jamesville-Dewitt in the state semifinals as a senior as his most memorable experience ... has one brother and one sister ... son of Ted and Sue Cordes ... major is criminal justice.
