High School: Played attack at Hunterdon Central High School for coach Mike Vergalito … lettered three years on the school’s varsity lacrosse team … named to both second team All-State and second team All-Skyland Conference his senior year … earned All-County honors as a junior and senior … also played for his high school’s football team, lettering twice.
Personal: Full name is Benjamin Daniel Coakley … prefers to go by Ben … son of parents Donald and Lisa Coakley … has two older brothers, Ryan and Mike … brother Mike currently plays lacrosse for Wentworth Institute of Technology and his other brother, Ryan, also played lacrosse for the same school … most admires his grandparents … hobbies include swimming, playing on his Xbox, and watching sports … hopes to stay involved with lacrosse and possibly become a teacher one day … favorite professional teams are the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins … favorite athlete is New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady … plans on majoring in psychology at Towson.
