Biography
2021: Saw the field in eight games as a junior midfielder … made five starts … battled injury this spring … finished with two goals, once against Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 13) in an overtime win and the second at Drexel (March 6) … put nine shots on goal … collected seven ground balls while causing two turnovers.
2020 Season: Saw time in all six games as a junior midfielder … started at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 8) in the season opener … scored three goals, including back-to-back games against No. 12 Cornell (Feb. 21) and at No. 12 Loyola (Feb. 26) … added a goal against No. 13 Georgetown (March 7) … took 17 shots, second-most among full-time midfielders … added five ground balls to his line, including a pair against Georgetown.
2019 Season: Played in 15 games as a sophomore midfielder … started in the final eight games of the year … finished with seven points on five goals and two assists … posted first collegiate point with a goal at No. 2 Duke (March 16) … had a two-point day against Hofstra (March 30) with one goal and one helper … had a run of three games with a goal … took 35 shots with 17 shots on goal … grabbed two ground balls and did not serve a penalty.
2018 Season: Did not see time after joining the program in the midyear.
High School: Played locally at The Boys’ Latin School as a midfielder … earned US Lacrosse All-America honors … also played varsity football for the Lakers.
Personal: Full name is Greg DeMasse Ey (pronounced: EYE) … son of Greg and Niki Ey … has one sister, Marissa … enjoys fishing in his free time … favorite athlete is Wes Welker … favorite professional sports franchise is the Baltimore Ravens … aspires to be a financial advisor after graduation … majoring in finance at Towson.
