Biography
2020 Season: Served as a co-captain … saw time in four games as a senior faceoff specialist … won eight faceoffs, including a season-best eight at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 8) in the season opener … caused one turnover against the Blue Jays.
2019 Season: Joseph Ferrante Memorial Scholarship Award winner … played in seven games as a junior faceoff specialist … made collegiate debut at Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 15), winning his first career faceoff … carried the bulk of the faceoff load late in the season after Alex Woodall was injured … won 65 of his 118 draws in 2019 (.551) … won 37 of his 64 chances in the CAA Tournament … set a school and CAA Tournament record in the semifinals, winning 27 of his 31 draws … scored four goals, including a pair at Drexel (April 27) in the regular season … scored those four goals on five total shots … picked up 37 ground balls in seven games, including 17 against Delaware in the CAA Tournament.
2018 Season: Did not see time as a sophomore faceoff specialist.
2017 Season: Did not see any action during his rookie campaign.
High School: Faced off and played midfield at Bishop Guertin High School for coach Christopher Cameron … named first team All-State three times … led team to state championship three years in 2013, 2014, and 2016 … made the varsity team all four years of high school … also played for the school’s basketball team.
Personal: Son of Patrick and Anne McNallen … has four siblings, Chris, Keelan, Tim, Greg and Corey … most admires his older brother Chris … coaches lacrosse in the summer … favorite professional teams are the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins … has not yet declared a major at Towson.
