Biography
2021: Played in four games, logging 15 minutes between the pipes … allowed just one goal … finished with a 4.01 goals against average while facing four total shots … caused one turnover in season finale against No. 13 Delaware (April 24).
2020 Season: Played in five games as a reserve netminder in his junior season … made his collegiate debut at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 8), playing in two and a half minutes against the Blue Jays … logged 63 total minutes on the season … led Towson with a 9.55 goals against average … made eight saves, including a career-best six in his 45 minutes against No. 13 Georgetown (March 7) … faced 38 total shots, allowing just 10 goals … added two ground balls against the Hoyas as well.
2019 Season: Did not see time as a reserve sophomore goalkeeper.
2018 Season: Did not see time in goal in his rookie season.
High School: Played goalie at nearby Loyola Blakefield for head coach Ben Rubeor … ranked fourth all-time in Maryland for single-game saves (23 vs. Hill Academy) … made 237 saves as a senior at a 61.2 percent clip … finalist for the C. Markland Kelly Award … named Team MVP and as an All-MIAA selection … earned honor roll status.
Personal: Full name is Jake William Stout … son of Thomas and Cheryl Stout … mother attended Towson … has three siblings, Teal, Thomas and Eric, who is also a member of the Towson lacrosse program … brother in law Dwayne Jones played in the NBA for several franchises … favorite professional teams are the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, as well as the Philadelphia 76ers … favorite athlete is Muhammad Ali … majoring in accounting at Towson with a minor in information systems.
