Biography
2019 Season: 2019 Co-Captain … played in all 16 games as a senior defensive midfielder … split time between longstick midfielder and a short stick defensive midfielder in the back half of the year … had a strong season with five caused turnovers, a career-best … grabbed 20 ground balls, including a season-best four at No. 17 Georgetown (Feb. 23) … finished with six multi-ground ball games … served just six minutes of penalties.
2018 Season: Winner of the Joseph Ferrante Memorial Scholarship … played in 14 games as a junior defensive midfielder … caused three turnovers, including one each against Delaware (May 3) and UMass (May 5) in the CAA Championship Tournament … grabbed 13 ground balls, including three against Delaware in the CAA Semifinals … served five and a half minutes in penalties, with just one coming as a personal foul.
2017 Season: Appeared in three of the first four games of the season in the midfield ... snagged a pair of ground balls in the season opener at Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 18).
2016 Season: Saw the field in four games as a true freshman defensive midfielder … made collegiate debut against UMBC (March 5) … caused one turnover and grabbed one ground ball, both against Furman (March 19) … saw time against Hobart (May 11) in the NCAA Tournament play-in game … served a one minute cross checking penalty in that game.
High School: Played midfield at St. Mary’s Ryken High School for head coach John Sothoron … earned first team All-WCAC honors … named St. Mary’s County Athlete of the Year … voted as the most inspirational player … member of the honor roll and Tri M Music Society.
Personal: Son of Jimmie and Pamela Wilkerson … has one sister, Briana … most admires his mother … has done work with Habitat for Humanity … hobbies include playing the cello … majoring in criminal justice at Towson … career goal is to work for the secret service.
