Biography
2020 Season: Played in three games as a senior long stick midfielder … suffered a lower body injury … caused one turnover against No. 12 Cornell (Feb. 21) … grabbed two ground balls, with one at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 8) and again against Cornell … did not take a penalty all season.
2019 Season: Played in one game as a junior longstick midfielder … made his season debut at Delaware (May 2) in the CAA Semifinals … did not register a stat against the Blue Hens.
2018 Season: Saw the field in six games as a sophomore longstick midfielder … finished with six ground balls, including a pair at No. 11 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 10) and at Hofstra (March 31).
2017 Season: Played in seven games on defense as a rookie ... recorded a caused turnover in his first collegiate appearance against Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 18).
High School: Played close defense for Hereford High School for coach Sal Picataggi … led his team to the 2013 state championship … finalist for the prestigious Kelly Award, given to the best high school lacrosse player in the state of Maryland … named a MSLCA All-Star … led team in caused turnovers in both his junior and senior year … named first team All-County twice … also named U.S. Lacrosse All-American … played for the school’s football team.
Personal: Full name is Joseph Michael Patti … prefers to go by Joe … son of parents Jeff and Kathy Patti … has two siblings, Dom and Jay … most admires his brother … hobbies include basketball, fishing and skiing … hopes to work in sport management and athletic training … favorite professional teams are the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles … favorite athlete is NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson … has not yet declared a major at Towson.
