Biography
2023: Team captain on defense, starting all 15 games at close defense... finished the year with 19 ground balls and seven caused turnovers... had six games with multiple ground balls... five consecutive games with at least one caused turnover, capped by two caused turnovers and three ground balls in win vs. Fairfield (3/25)... member of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
2022: Joseph Ferrante Memorial Scholarship recipient … started in all 16 games at close defense … caused 11 turnovers, including three in the season opener against No. 16 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 11) … caused two more turnovers in an 11-8 win over Loyola Maryland (March 2) … collected 28 ground balls, with five coming in a win against Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 15) … logged his first career point with an assist against No. 1 Virginia (Feb. 19) … served just two penalites for two minutes.
2021: Saw the field in 11 games as a reserve close defenseman … made one start in the season opener at No. 5 Virginia (Feb. 6) … capped his sophomore season with eight ground balls and five caused turnovers … took just one penalty all year for one minute.
2020 Season: Played in four games as a freshman close defenseman … started in the final three games of the season … made his collegiate debut against No. 12 Cornell (Feb. 21) … caused three turnovers, including a pair at UMBC (March 3) … finished with 10 ground balls, grabbing four at UMBC and another three at home against No. 13 Georgetown (March 7).
High School: Four-year varsity starter in lacrosse at defense for head coach Brian Farrel and two-year letterwinner in football at The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland … helped team to MIAA title games in 2016 and 2018 and the MIAA semifinals in 2017 and 2019 … served as a team captain … Kelley Award finalist … won the Laker Buddy Award … member of the National Honor Society and was a William Scholar … also played football for the Lakers.
Personal: Full name is Reagan Marlatt McNemar … son of William and Kim McNemar, who each attended Salisbury University … has two siblings, Keeley, who plays lacrosse at Rutgers, and Liam, who plays football at Archbishop Spalding … his aunt, Kathleen O’Hara McNemar, played softball at Towson as a pitcher … most admires Chris Kyle … hobbies include fishing, crabbing, boating and going to the beach … works as a pool manager in the summer … favorite athlete is Terrell Suggs … favorite professional teams are the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Capitals .... favorite actors are Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston … works in the community with adaptive lacrosse … majoring in business at Towson.
