2022-23: Swam a personal-best 1:52.71 in the 200 fly at the Tiger Winter Open... recorded a personal-best of 4:40.64 in the 500 free at the same meet... dropped a PB 50.98 in the 100 fly at the Patriot Invitational (Nov. 18)... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.
2021-22: Competed in four events as a freshman middle distance swimmer … competed in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke twice, the 200-yard butterfly twice and the 500-yard freestyle three times … finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke in a dual meet at William & Mary (Oct. 23) with a 1 minute 55.52 second swim.
Personal: Son of Michael and Kim Rooney ... has three siblings, Liam, Seamus and Michela ... major is Business Marketing.
