2022-23: Primarily swam spring and mid-distance freestyle events... recorded a personal-best 47.54 in the 100 free at the Thomas Murphy Invitational... swam a personal-best 21.91 in the 50 free against UMBC (Jan. 18)... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Swam in five different events as a junior, focusing on distance events … competed in the 200-, 500-, 1,000-, and 1,650-yard freestyles … swam the 200-yard individual medley twice during the regular season … had three fourth-place finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle during the regular season … won the 500-yard freestyle in a dual meet at William & Mary (Oct. 23) with a 4 minute 47.64 second swim … added two third-place finishes in the event.

2020-21: Swam for the Tigers primarily in the distance events … posted the team’s second-fastest 500-yard freestyle (4 minutes, 38.88 seconds) … finished ninth at the CAA Championship meet in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:16.51) … took eighth in the CAA’s 500-yard freestyle (4:39.07).

2019-20: Finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:51.06) at Georgetown… Finished fourth in a four-team meet at Navy in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:44.14)… Placed second in both the 1000-yard freestyle (9:41.25) and the500-yard freestyle (4:41.02) at home vs. William & Mary… Won both the 1000-yard freestyle (9:37.53) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.84) at Drexel…At Loyola, he won both the 1650-yard freestyle (16:02.97) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.00)… At home vs. Delaware, he placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (1:56.65) and third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.44)…

Personal: Son of John and Joanne Munson… Brother of Alex and Nick … From Rockville, Maryland… Individual accomplishments include Team Captain of the swim team and All-American recognition … Enjoys playing video games… Among his favorites the Redskins, Capitals, Wizards, and Nationals (pro teams), Elf (movie), Burger and Fries (meal), and Logic (musician) ... major is undecided.
