2021-22: Two-time All-CAA (100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle) … CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week (Oct. 19) … one of Towson’s top sprinters in his senior campaign … swam in four different events with a focus on the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events … finished no lower than fourth place in any meet during the regular season … hit a regular season-best 20.27 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle at the Bucknell Invitational … had finished no lower than third in any meet in the 50-yard freestyle during the regular season … anchored the 200-yard medley relay team that finished second at the CAA Championship Meet … finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle at the CAA meet (20.13) … anchored the championship 200-yard freestyle relay team at the league meet … finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.61) … won the 100-yard freestyle at CAAs with a 43.98.
2020-21: Swam primarily as a sprinter … put down the second-fastest 50-yard freestyle (20.19 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (44.05) times for the team … logged the team’s fastest 200-yard freestyle (1:37.07), 50-yard butterfly (23.50), and third-fastest 50-yard breaststroke (27.34) … grabbed gold at the CAA Championship Meet in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.07) … anchored Towson’s CAA Champion 200-, 400- and 800-yard freestyle relay teams … finished third in the 100-yard freestyle at CAA Championship Meet (44.05) … tied for bronze in the 50-yard freestyle (20.19) at CAA meet … anchored second-place 200-yard medley relay team.
2019-20: Finished second in the 100-yard freestyle at a four-team meet at Navy (46.00) as well as a second place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:06.95)… During a meet vs William & Mary, he placed second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.33), third in the 100-yard freestyle (46.17), and his 400-yard freestyle relay team placed 2nd (3:03.11)… During a meet vs UMBC, he placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (46.20), third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.67) as well as third in the 50-yard freestyle (21.20), plus a first place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:02.83)… At the Bucknell Invitational, his 200-yard freestyle relay team finished first (1:20.99) (School record), his 200-yard medley relay team finished second (1:30.47), and his 400-yard freestyle team tied for second (3:01.55)… Had a third place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at Drexel (1:42.18)… At Loyola, he won the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.90) as well as the 100-yard freestyle (46.48)… During a meet vs Delaware, he won both the 200-yard medley relay (1:33.26) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:07.43)…
2018-19: Competed in nine meets…Came in first-place vs. Delaware in the 50-yard free (21.27)…Had a season-best in the 200-yard free (1:41.60) vs. Loyola to finish first…Helped the Tigers win the Bucknell Invitation…Had a Personal-best in the 50-yard free (20.86) in the Colonial Athletic Championships…Had another PB in the 200-yard Free (1:39.92) at CAA’s
Personal: Son of Greg and Lisa Baldino … Brother of Sara … From Bel Air, Maryland … Individual accomplishments include five school records, 2 individual county records, three relay county records, two time individual 4A state champs in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 5 time county champ, and 6 time regional champ … Enjoys swimming, eating, and hanging out with friends … Among his favorites are the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins (pro teams), White Chicks (movie), Adam Sandler (actor), steak with mashed potatoes (meal), and Queen (band) ... major is sport management.
