2022: Pitched in six games out of the bullpen... struck out four batters in 4.2 innings... had a perfect, three-strikeout inning vs. Western Carolina (2/18)... member of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... earned the Towson Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year at the Golden PAWS.
2021: Made six appearances with two starts in the circle for the Tigers finishing with a 10.73 ERA and 0-3 record...finished the season with 11 strikeouts...played in eight games with 10 at-bats and one RBI.
2020:Â Named to the CAA Commissioners Honor Roll for the fall semester. (15-games shortened season).
2019: Played in 24 games, starting in 18…Had one run on 15 hits and her first career home run to help the Tigers defeat Georgetown 9-3 (April 10)…She had nine RBIs, 11 walks and a .364 slugging percentage.
High School:Â McDowell has compiled a 1.05 earned run average during her high school career. She has won 41 games and struck out 367 batters. A two-time Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Year, McDowell has nine shutouts, two no-hitters and one perfect game. At the plate, McDowell has hit nine homers and posted a .421 batting average. Last season as a junior, McDowell helped Hickory High School win the Atlantic Conference championship. She was also a member of Hickory's consecutive Virginia 5A state runner-up teams. She's a member of the Virginia Elite travel team.
