Biography

2018: First Team All-CAA, Google Cloud Academic All-District 2 DI Softball First Team, and CAA Pitcher of the Week Twice (Feb. 27 & April 20) ... Made 40 appearances and started 33 games ... In setting a single season record for wins (24), she led Towson with 222.1 innings pitched, 115 strikeouts, and a 2.08 earned run average ... Had seven outings with five or more strikeouts ... Tossed three shutouts against Bucknell (March 4), UNCW (April 22), and Austin Peay (May 17) ... Had two saves against Quinnipiac (March 3) and Drexel (April 6) ... had a career best eight strikeouts over UNCW (April 22) ... Ended her career with 125 appearances (third in program history), 103 starts (second), 76 complete games (second), 680.2 innings pitched (second), eight shutouts (tied for seventh), 57 victories (third) and 329 strikeouts (sixth) … Helped Towson set a program record with 42 wins and make its first postseason appearance in program history.

2017: Named to the All-CAA Academic Team … Compiled a 3.45 earned run average … In winning 10 games, she led Towson with 180.1 innings pitched, 74 strikeouts and 27 starts … Was eighth in the CAA in strikeouts  and 10th in wins … She tossed three shutouts this season against Miami (Feb. 26), Norfolk State (April 11) and Morgan State (April 18) … She recorded the Tigers only save of the season against Virginia by allowing one run over three innings … Struck out a season best seven batters against Howard (April 19) … Had six strikeouts against Colgate (Feb. 18) and George Mason (March 29).

2016: Led Towson with 149 innings pitched in 29 appearances … She finished the season with a 14-9 record and a 4.18 earned run average … Dejter struck out 70 batters to lead the staff … She fanned a season-high seven batters in her first game of the season against Charleston Southern … Her 19 complete games were a staff high … In regular season finale against UNCW, Dejter retired the final 14 batters.

2015: Dejter enjoyed a strong freshman season in which she was ninth in the conference in ERA (3.15) ... She won nine games and struck out 70 batters in 129 innings pitched ... Dejter had 13 complete games ... She struck out four or more batters 11 times last season ... Dejter had a pair of shutouts in the circle (Saint Francis and UMBC).

At Sherwood H.S.: Helped Warriors win state championship as a sophomore and junior … team went undefeated for two seasons (42-0) … earned first and second team all-met honors … named Montgomery County Gazette Player of the Year as a junior.
