2020 Season: Named to the CAA Commissioners Honor Roll for the fall semester… played in 10 games for the Tigers, starting in seven…finished the season with a .348 batting average, with 4 runs on 8 hits, two doubles, three home runs and seven RBI’s…had her first collegiate home run at the Winthrop tournament against Holy Cross on 2/14 where the Tigers won 7-0. (15-games shortened season)

High School: Started at catcher for Yucaipa High School and Redlands East Valley High under head coach Sandy Crumrine … team was 3 time League Champions … earned CBL 1st Team and All-League honors … CIF Champions in 2018 … CIF Finalists in 3 out of 4 years … earned scholar athlete honors 2 years in a row … earned high honor roll status all four years.

Personal: Full name is Samantha Marie Carson … prefers to be called Sami … daughter of Michael and Deanna Carson … has four siblings, Joe, Briana, Josh, and Ashley … active in community service project, Spark of Love Toy Drive … most admires her sister, Briana … favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Angels and the Los Angeles Chargers … hopes to work in Pediatric Physical Therapy in the future.
