Amanda Kusiak joined the Towson Athletics Department in 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer, where she is responsible for Women’s Softball and Cheerleading.
During her time at Towson, she has also served as an athletic trainer for Athletes Unlimited facilitating care of women’s lacrosse athletes.
Prior to her time at Towson, Kusiak worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Mercer University, where she oversaw the medical care of women and men’s lacrosse and men’s soccer.
Before her role at Mercer, Kusiak gained experience as an athletic training student at Duke University for the Spring of 2022.
She earned both her bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Bowling Green State University. She majored in Exercise Science with a specialization in Sports Medicine, and earned a Master of Athletic Training, finishing her studies in 2022.
Kusiak has earned certifications including National Athletic Trainer’s Association Member, Gaston M1 certified, CPR and First Aid, Georgia athletic Trainer Licensure, Maryland Athletic Trainer Licensure, and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
