Kate Correia joined the sport performance department at Towson University in June 2022. Kate oversees the strength & conditioning programs for Softball, Tennis, Cross Country and assists with Football.

Before Towson, she interned and was a personal trainer at Absolute Sports Performance, working with a variety of athletes. She later interned with the Olympic Sports Department at University of Maryland and Towson University.

After her internship at Towson, she rose to assistant director of sports performance at Athletic Performance Inc. where she worked with a variety of athletes, helping to build the adult strength & conditioning program and overseeing the high school program.

Originally from northern New Jersey, Kate graduated from the University of Maryland where she was an assistant to the director of operations and helped manage many parts of the baseball team. She worked as an all-star cheerleading coach after being a former all-star cheerleader herself.

Kate is an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Currently, she is pursing her Master's Degree in Human Performance and Nutrition.Â
