Returning starter at first base ... very strong lefthanded hitter who does a great job hitting the ball into the gaps ... should be one of the Tigers’ top run-producers ... very good clutch hitter ... excellent defensive first baseman ... one of the team’s senior leaders ... does a great job putting the ball in play ... could also see action as designated player.

2007 Season: Starter in 55 games ... started at first base 54 times ... started at designated player once ...
