Background: Former “walk-on” who made the Tigers during the 2012 season ... was an infielder, outfielder and catcher at Kellenberg Memorial High School … voted team MVP in 2010 … hit .402 with 16 RBIs and 30 runs scored … also captained school’s volleyball and basketball teams … helped Firebirds to Class C state volleyball title.
