Biography
2023-24: Competed in five indoor meets…tossed a season-best 14.43m in the shot put at the Darius Dixon Memorial…earned a season-best at the Penn State National Open in the weight throw with a distance of 17.94m…competed in six outdoor meets…earned season best marks in the shot put and discus throw at CAA Outdoor Championships, throwing 14.63m and 52.25m respectively…placed second in both events, earning All-CAA honors…additionally, broke the school record in the discus throw…qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in discus, tossing 44.02m at the meet.
2023 Outdoor: Earned 17 top-10 finishes including three first place finishes in the shot put…picked up a PR in the hammer after throwing the ninth best mark in program history (50.56m) at the NSU Track & Field Invitational…won the discus throw with a PR and second best mark in program history (50.72m) at ECAC Championships…threw a PR and the fourth best mark in program history in the shot put (14.58m) at ECACs…qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in discus throw.
2022-23 Indoor: Saw 9 top-10 finishes…had two consecutive first place finishes in the weight throw at the Penn Select 10 (17.28m) and Gulden Invitational (17.27m)…earned All-CAA Honors for placing third in the weight throw (18.61m) at CAA Championships…posted the fourth best mark in program history in the weight throw (19.15m) at ECAC Championships…earned a season best mark of 14.12m in shot put at CAAs.
