Biography
2023-24 Track & Field: Competed in four indoor meets in the 400m, 600m, 800m and 4x400m relay…clocked a PR of 2:33.02 in the 800 at the Navy Indoor Invitational…earned a best time of 1:41.36 in the 600 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge…competed in four meets during outdoor season… helped the 4x400 relay place second at the Towson Spring Opener…ran a PR of 1:00.94 in the 400 at the Morgan State Legacy Meet… named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2023 Cross Country: Competed in two meets for the Tigers…ran a 23:12.7 in the 5k at the Baltimore Metro Meet…clocked a 31:18.1 in the 6k at the Navy Cross Country Invitational.
Prior to Towson: Placed third at 2022 Outdoor Maryland States her junior year…high school was three-time state champions (2022 outdoor, 2023 indoor and 2023 outdoor).
Personal: Daughter of Francis and Funmi Afolaju…has one sister and one brother, Ini and Inumidun…member of National Honor Society…aspires to work for the government in technology.
