Biography
2023-24: Finished the season with an average of 78.48, the second lowest on the team, after 23 rounds…was the team’s top finisher at the Edisto Island Invitational (Oct. 16-17) after rounds of 75-70-75…shot collegiate career low 70 during her second round at the Edisto Island Invitational…named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2022-23: Played in all eight tournaments for her first season with the Tigers…had an average of 79.67 per round…was Towson’s top finisher at two consecutive tournaments (Red Rocks Invite & Kingsmill Intercollegiate)…shot season low 75 twice at the William & Mary Fall Invite…notched 29 birdies total.
Prior to Towson: Won the TVRA, WOSSAA and OFSAA girls titles in grade nine… joined the boys high school golf team in grade 10 and helped them win back-to-back Thames Valley Region High School championships… won the OFSAA (Ontario) high school championship in 2015, scoring a 72… won the CN Ontario Golf Canada Championship in 2016 (scoring 71-73-72)… previously played at Florida Gulf Coast University… helped the Eagles win the Mid-American Match Play… competed in the Jupiter Women’s Invitational in 2019, shooting a 76-78-78.
Personal: Daughter of Chris and Jasmine Portokalis… majoring in communications… aspires to become a pro golfer and work in the golf industry… volunteered at Florida Midwest Foodbank and tree planting at FGCU.
