Biography

Spring 2020: Competed in the Kiawah Classic and finished with a tournament score of 233 (+17) … In the final round, shot a six-over 78 helped by birdies on the 11th and 15th holes … That was her lowest round of the spring … Shot a three over on the front and back nines.

Fall 2019: Competed in one event, the Towson Invitational, and shot an 87.5 over two rounds.

2018-19: Competed in two events and finished with a 88.4 average over five rounds … She helped the Tigers capture second overall at the Towson Invitational where she finished 18th overall (160 +16) … Jung also competed at the Anuenue Classic where she finished 49th overall (282 +66).

2017-18: Competed in seven events and averaged 79.5 over 19 rounds … She shot a season low 73 in the first round of the Pinehurst Challenge … Shot a 222 at the Pinehurst Challenge for her lowest three-round score … Finished tied for 17th to help Towson win the Tignanelli Invitational (159 +15) … Helped Towson shoot a program record 871 at the Pinehurst Challenge … The Tigers finished among the top three in four tournaments.

2016-17: In helping Towson finish fifth overall at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) women’s golf championships, she averaged 80.8 over 16 rounds  ... It was the Tigers highest finish in program history at the CAA championships … She was 12th overall at the CAA championships after a three-round total of 229 ...  It was her best finish in a tournament ... She finished tied for 15th at the Tignanelli Invitational after shooting a two-round 154 ... Tied a career low 75 twice in the seocnd round of the Tignanelli Invitational and third round of the Kiawah Island Classic.

Prior to Towson: Jung was a two-time district champion … She was fourth at the 2015 & 2016 Maryland High School state championships … Her efforts helped Mount Hebron qualify for the state tournament for the first time … She also placed second in the 2015 Maryland Junior Girls Championship (75-77-152) and recently was runner-up in the MAPGA Spring Fling (76-75-151) … She was named Mount Hebron Female Athlete of the Year and inducted into the Hall of Fame.
 
Personal: She is the daughter of Song and Eun-Jung Jung and has a younger brother, Ryan … Majoring in speech pathology … Is a huge Washington Redskins, Washington Wizards and Baltimore Orioles fan … She lists her favorite athlete as Lydia Ko … Her favorite book is “We The Living” by Ayn and her favorite movie is “Grease” … Her favorite meal is pizza and French fries and her favorite actor is Paul Rudd … Lists her most memorable experience as winning counties for the first time.
