After four seasons as an Assistant Athletics Director in the Towson University development department, Brian Finn was hired in May 2026 in a newly created role – Associate Athletics Director for Ticket Sales & Marketing.
Finn will be overseeing the ticket and athletics marketing department – using data-driven outreach, community partnerships and an engaging game-day atmosphere to generate revenue for the department.
His background includes athletics fundraising, sponsorship sales, ticket revenue generation and date-informed marketing campaigns.
Hired by Towson in September 2022, Finn was part of the three-person Tiger Athletic Fund, where he helped develop and execute annual giving campaigns supporting Towson Athletics programs. He contributed to the strategic redesign and growth of the University’s annual day of giving each April, TU Big Give, helping increase athletics single-day fundraising from $35,000 right before he arrived to $232,000 in 2025. In 2026, Finn helped the department secure more than 1,000 donors.
Finn’s career began in minor league baseball as an account executive with the Peoria Chiefs, the Class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. He sold season ticket packages, group outings and mini plans to business and community organizations.
He then spent five seasons in the UNLV – first as the Director of Development of the Rebel Athletic Fund before transitioning into corporate sponsorship with IMG. During his time in Las Vegas, Finn managed donor portfolios, coordinated fundraising events like the annual golf outing and relaunched the Letterwinner Club to re-engage former student-athletes.
A graduate of Illinois State University, Finn and his wife, Kelsey, reside in Towson.
