Biography
2025: Finished stellar Towson career with 1436.500 career points... EAGL Scholar-Athlete of the Year, also earning First Team All-EAGL on bars, beam and floor... NCAA individual competitor on the beam after finishing tied for 63rd nationally in that event... EAGL champion on the balance beam with a 9.900 (3/22), eight first place finishes, including five on beam, and a combined 16 podium finishes... had team's top score on bars at 9.950, tying for the third-best bars score in program history, on March 16 at Maryland, also tying for the best beam score of the season with a 9.900 three times... graduated with top-10 scores in program history in bars (9.950, t-3rd), beam (9.900, t-10th) and floor (9.900, t-9th)... two-time EAGL Gymnast of the Week... competed on bars, beam and floor in all 14 meets for Towson... 30 9.8+ scores and five 9.9+ performances on the season, also having six meets with three 9.8+ scores each... began the year with a 9.900 on bars at N.C. State (1/4)... set career-high 9.900 on beam at Penn (1/17)...  three meets in a row with a trio of 9.8+ scores each from Mar. 2-9, including a 9.900 on beam, 9.875 on floor and 9.800 on bars in quad-meet win (3/4)... set career-high with 9.950 on bars, adding 9.825 on floor and 9.800 on beam at Maryland (3/16)... member of the All-EAGL Scholastic Team.
2024: Competed in all 15 meets for the Tigers, eight times on floor, 14 times on bars and 14 times on beam…matched her career-high 9.925 on bars and 9.900 on beam on March 17 and March 23, respectively…equaled her career-high 9.875 on floor twice…earned five podium finishes on beam and bars…named to the First Team All-EAGL and First Team All-Tournament on bars, First Team All-Tournament on beam and Second Team All-Tournament on floor…earned All-EAGL Scholastic Team honors.
2023: Competed in 12 meets this season…specialized in beams, bars and floor… competed on vault once, logging a 9.6…hit career high 9.925 on bars which is the fourth highest score in program history (Feb. 1), and placed first overall…posted season high 9.825 on floor twice…placed first on beam at NCAA Regionals Round One with a season high 9.85… named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team, maintaining a cumulative 4.0 GPA…Second Team All-EAGL Bars.
2022: Second Team All-EAGL Bars, Beam, Floor … EAGL Rookie of the Week (Jan. 19) … competed in all 14 meets as a true freshman … completed one all-around in a home quad-meet with West Chester, West Virginia and William & Mary (Jan. 14) … made her collegiate debut in the season opener at UNH with New Hampshire and Southern Connecticut … hit a season-best 9.900 on bars at home against Ursinus and West Virginia (Feb. 19) … added the same score on beam at Utah State with BYU (Feb. 25) … posted a career-best 9.875 on floor in three separate meets, including the EAGL Championship Meet (March 19) … earned a podium spot 10 times as a rookie.
High School/Club: Trained with Pearland Elite Gymnastics … listed in America’s Top 100 twice on bars (2020 & 2021) once on beam (2021) twice on floor (2021) and once in AA (2021)… qualified for 2019 Junior Olympic Nationals … qualified for 2019 Level 10 Regionals, finishing first on bars with third-place finishes on the floor, beam and all-around … competed at 2019 Level 10 state meet, winning on bars, taking second on floor and third in beam, landing first in the all-around … won on bars at the 2018 Level 10 regionals … earned honor roll status in each of her four years
Personal: Daughter of Tom and Heather Hong … has one sister … wants to pursue a career in biomedical studies.
