After spending the last three seasons as a player, Costa will transition into a new role as a student assistant coach in 2018. She appeared in four games for the Tigers from 2015-17, including three a year ago, while winning a CAA championship in 2016.
Costa came to Towson from Jackson Memorial High School in Jackson, New Jersey where she scored over 100 career goals as a midfielder for head coach Diana Strizk. She was an All-Shore First Team selection in lacrosse and also played soccer.
The daughter of John and Carmen Costa, Steph is a senior who is majoring in exercise science.
