2022-23: Was a steady force for the Tigers during his lone season in Towson, appearing in 32 games, starting all but two of those contests… averaged 7.9 ppg and 4.7 rpg in 28.0 mpg… shot 38 percent from the floor and 34 percent from three with 29 steals and 49 assists… started his Tiger career with a bang, scoring 12 points with five rebounds in the season opener against UAlbany on November 7… he had a season-high five three pointers against North Carolina A&T in February on the way to a 15-point performance… he netted a season-best 18 points against North Carolina A&T on January 19.

BEFORE TOWSON: Played 117 games in four seasons at Southeast Missouri State University... helped the Redhawks earn a trip to the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) semifinal round for the first time in 17 years, being the team's top rebounder with 6.5 rebounds a game, adding 7.9 points and 2.1 assists per contest... ranked 13^th in the OVC with a 35% three-point field goal rate and earned a 1.4 assist/turnover ratio... member of the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and a SEMO Scholar-Athlete... in career at SEMO, had a 31.4% three-point field goal rate, averaged four rebounds a game plus had a 1.1 assist/turnover ratio.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played a prep year at ASPIRE Basketball Academy, averaging 11 points and five rebounds a game... all-region player at Chris Walker Academy with 12 points a game.

PERSONAL: Son of Lenny and LaDonna Russell... has two brothers, Atif and Jeremy, and a sister, Nichole.
