Biography
2019: Played and started in all 18 games for Towson…logged 1.592 minutes…had one goal, two points and 13 shots with two on goal during her senior year…her one goal came in a 1-0 win over UMBC on Sept. 5 to help the Tigers seal the deal in the ‘Battle of Baltimore’ after already defeating Mount St. Mary’s the week before.
2018:Played and started in all 19 games for the Tigers… She logged a total of 1551 minutes… She led the Tiger offense with 13 points on six goals and one assists… She took 38 total shots, putting 24 on goal… She had a season-high of five shots against Utah State (Sep. 2) and played the most minutes 110, against Drexel (Oct. 14)… She was named to the CAA Third team.
2017: Played in all 19 games as a sophomore midfielder … started the final 16 games of the season … finished with one point on an assist at the College of Charleston (Oct. 8) … registered six shots, including a pair at James Madison (Oct. 12) … logged 1,554 minutes, including all 110 in three double overtime games … total minutes ranked fifth on the team this season.
2016: Named to CAA's All-Rookie Team ... first Tiger to be named All-Rookie since 2014 season ... earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 25 ... played in all 19 games as a true freshman midfielder … started in 15 contests, including the final 14 games of the season … scored two goals, getting her first collegiate goal against Bowling Green (Sept. 9) in the Tigers’ 5-1 win at the Navy Invitational …credited with the game-winner in that contest … logged Towson’s first goal in the 2-1 win at William & Mary (Sept. 25), helping the program to its first-ever win in Williamsburg … took 10 shots, putting half of those chances on goal … tallied 1,186 minutes, seventh-most on the team this year and the most minutes by a Tiger rookie … played the full 90 minutes against Northeastern (Oct. 21) while logging 95 minutes against Elon (Sept. 23) in a double overtime contest … one of the Tigers’ go-to players on corner kicks.
High School: Played as a midfielder for head coach Kevin Meder at Lenape High School … helped team to SJ Coaches Tournament (2012, 2013, 2014) and SJ Sectional (2012, 2013, 2014) championships … named All-South jersey second team, All-State and Top 20 South Jersey in 2015.
Personal: Full name is Justine Lee Stoner … daughter of Doug and Terri Stoner … has two sisters, Nicolette and Brielle … family has deep college athletic connections: sisters play(ed) soccer Nicolette (Stevenson) and Brielle (Kutztown/Rutgers-Camden), cousin Jen Klein played soccer at University of Arizona and cousin Andrew Sokol played men’s lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts … has aspirations to become a physical therapist … majoring in exercise science at Towson.
