Adrienne Phillips

Adrienne Phillips, who spent two years as a team captain for the Towson University swimming and diving team, returned to the Towson campus in the spring of 2014 to serve as an assistant coach.

Phillips returns to Towson after serving as the assistant swimming coach for the Eagle Swim Team in Owings Mills, Maryland. There she coached groups of different skill levels from ages 6-18 and beginners to the national skill level. She provided skill technique and assisted in the planning for training and practices. Phillips provided nutrition counseling when necessary.

Phillips also worked as the Y of Central Maryland in Towson as the aquatics director. There she organized schedules and supervised the aquatics staff. She put together swimming lessons and exercise classes. Phillips founded a Master’s swim team, and a competitive swimming clinic, which she coaches.

Phillips earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Towson in May 2013. She helped the Tigers win three Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships. Phillips swam in the freestyle, butterfly and individual medley events for the Tigers. She was a two-time captain of the team.

Phillips is a USA Swimming registered coach and holds a pool operator’s license. She holds an AED/CPR, first aid and lifeguard certifications.
