2022-23: Primarily swam freestyle and breaststroke events... placed fourth in the 100 free at the CAA Championships with a Towson record-setting 49.73 in the finals session... recorded the third-fastest time in program history in the 50 free with a 23.07 at the conference championship meet, placing seventh overall... recorded the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 100 breast at the conference championship meet, placing ninth overall... named CAA Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 1 following three wins at the Thomas Murphy Invitational... named a team captain for 2022-23... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Competed in six different events over the course of her junior season … competed in a majority of meets as a sprinter … grabbed 14 podium finishes, including a pair of first places … won both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard freestyle in a dual-meet win over James Madison (Oct. 9) to open the season … finished fifth in the CAA Championship meet’s 100-yard breaststroke (1 minute, 3.07 seconds) and swam the third-leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay that finished with a bronze … finished fourth at the CAA Championship meet in the 100-yard freestyle (50.47).

2020-21: Swam in five different events as a sophomore … had the team’s fastest 200-yard IM (2:03.54) and 100-yard freestyle (50.42) of the season … posted the fourth-quickest 50-yard freestyle (24.81) … had the second-best 200-yard freestyle (1:51.41) … took second in the 100-yard freestyle (50.42) at the CAA Championship meet … finished third at the CAA Championships in the 200-yard IM (2:03.54) … swam the anchor leg of Towson’s 400-yard medley relay (50.19) to a fourth-place finish … swam the third leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay to a fourth-place finish as well.

2019-20: At Georgetown, she was a part of a victorious 400-yard freestyle relay (3:32.72) as well as a fourth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay… During a five-team meat at Navy, she finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.79), eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (52.44) and was a part of fourth place finish in the 400-yard individual medley relay… Placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.83) and was a part of a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:37.90) at JMU… Came in third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.38) at home vs. William & Mary… She won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.02) and placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.23) at home vs. UMBC… Took third place in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.03) at Loyola.

Personal: Daughter of Jean and Kari Nunez… Sister of Matthew … From Norfolk, Virginia… Individual accomplishments include VHSL All-District, Honor Roll all 4 years and graduated in the top 5% of his class … Enjoys painting and reading ... Among her favorites the Capitals, Dolphins, and Lakers (pro teams), Any Avengers Movie (movie), Chris Hemsworth (actor), Mom’s Alfredo (meal), and Lizzo (musicians) ... major is molecular biology/biochemistry/bioinformatics.
