2023-24: Placed 16^th in the 100 breast finals at the CAA Championships with a time of 1:04.74 … her prelim time of 1:04.36 was a season-best … placed 23^rd in the 50 free finals at CAAs with a 23.88 … her 23.84 in preliminary heats was a personal-best … finished 28^th in 200 breast prelims at CAAs with a time of 2:27.37.

2022-23: Primarily swam freestyle and breaststroke... swam a personal-best 1:03.81 in preliminary heats of the 100 breast at the CAA Championships, finishing 14th in the finals... finished with a personal-best 52.04 in the 100 free against William & Mary on Oct. 23... named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Swam in four events as a sophomore … finished third in the 100-yard freestyle in a dual at William & Mary (Oct. 23) with a 52.04 second effort … finished third in the 50-yard freestyle in the regular season finale against Delaware (Jan. 29) with a 25.32 second swim.

2020-21: Swam in six events as a freshman on the team … had the team’s sixth-fastest 50-yard freestyle (25.32) and seventh-best 100-yard freestyle (55.56) … posted the team’s second-best 50-yard breaststroke (32.09) and third-best time in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.67).

High School: Swam for head coach Michelle Stambaugh and the Mountain View Wildcats … set school records in the 50-, 100-, and 200-yard freestyle events … member of the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays that posted school records … earned All-Area honors as a junior and senior … named MVP her junior season … graduated with honors and summa cum laude member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society.

Personal: Full name is Shay Elizabeth Walker … daughter of Scott and Trina Walker … has four siblings: Sean, Casey, Hannah and Maddi … father, Scott, played football at Eastern Kentucky University while her brother, Sean, played football at James Madison University … works with Meals of Hope for community service … most admires her father … coached and worked as a lifeguard … favorite teams are the Minnesota Vikings, Washington Capitals and the Washington Nationals … favorite movie is Dirty Dancing while her favorite actor is Chris Hemsworth … favorite memories are holidays with family … would like to work in nursing and is a pre-nursing major at Towson.
