Deasia Booker joined the Towson athletics academic achievement office in Feb. 2026.
Booker comes to Towson after serving in a similar role at her alma mater of George Mason University, moving from learning specialist to academic coordinator and working as a primary academic advisor for assigned athletic teams, and monitoring academic progress.  She provides comprehensive academic and support for her programs.
She also has had roles in education, working for Fairfax County Public Schools, the Hanover Public School District and the SouthWestern School District as a tutor and teaching assistant.
Booker graduated from George Mason in 2023 with a degree in criminology - law and society. She also earned her Master's Degree at George Mason in education, currciulum and instruction - history/social sciences in 2025.
