Anna-Marie Kopecka joined Towson Athletics in August 2024 as the graduate assistant coach for the women’s tennis program.
Kopeka played three seasons at Campbell (fall 2020-spring 2023) – winning 52 matches, which included a 28-24 doubles record. As a junior, she earned second team All-Big South honors in doubles and was named ITA Scholar-Athlete Award. She was Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators and on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll. During her freshman season, she went 6-3 at No. 1 doubles to earn first-team all-conference doubles honors and gained recognition on the Big South Commissioner’s Award with a 4.0 GPA.
She transferred to Western Kentucky for her final season (2023-24) and went 10-7 in singles play and posted a 9-5 from the No. 1 doubles position.
Kopecka graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in May 2024. She interned in the athletics departments at both Western Kentucky and Campbell.
At Towson she will be pursuing her master’s in marketing intelligence, anticipated to graduate in May 2026.
As a Czech Republic native, Kopecka spent two summers in Prague in 2022 and 2023 as a tennis coach for the Czech Lawn Tennis Club. She played with one of the top tennis academics – TK Precheza Prerov – reaching the top 90 in the national junior rankings.
