    Volunteer Assistant
Greg Selby has been a volunteer assistant with Towson Tennis since Jamie Peterson was named head coach in 2017-18.

The head professional at Coppermine Racquet and Fitness, Selby is USPTR certified and has been teaching tennis for nearly 20 years.

Selby played tennis at Shepherd University and graduated in 2003 as the winningest player in school history.  He finished his four-year career with 128 wins and just 36 losses. As a junior, he went 39-3 and won the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title at No. 5 singles. He also won the No. 2 doubles conference championship that season. He was voted team MVP and his victory clinched the conference championship for Shepherd. Selby and the Rams also took the conference title in 2003.

Selby got a late start at Shepherd. He played No. 1 singles at Brunswick High School in Frederick County from 1986-89 but decided to play on the local amateur circuit for a decade before enrolling at Shepherd in fall 1999.
