Nitin Deodhar joined the Towson University women's tennis staff as a volunteer coach prior to the spring portion of the 2017 season.
A former nationally ranked junior and scholarship player on the Towson Men’s Team in the early 2000’s, Deodhar guided Towson to its first ever Colonial Athleticf Association (CAA) Conference Tournament match win (6-0, 6-1 win over James Tsai) and team victory (4-0), when they defeated Hofstra in the first round of the 2002 tournament. During his time at Towson, Deodhar played at the top of singles line-up, was named most promising newcomer and voted as team captain prior to the 2002-03 season.
Deodhar is the owner and director of Bethesda Tennis Academy in the D.C. Metro Area, which was established in 2008.
Deodhar currently resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife Nutan and their two 8-year-old sons, Roshan and Aakash.
