2022: In her rookie season, went 6-13 in singles playing on courts No. 5 and No. 6 … went 4-9 on the fifth court with wins over Mary Washington, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hofstra and Coppin State … also picked up a 9-10 doubles record, winning seven matches on court No. 1 with partner Themis Haliou.  

Prior to Towson: Attended high school at Akademi Bastad Gymnasium in Sweden … served as President of the Student Union … earned the highest GPA in her class and received the academic achievement award for the Social Studies program … Previously ranked No. 28 in the U-18 Swedish players … the highest she has ever been ranked in an age bracket for Sweden is No. 8 ... she has played in Swedish nationals … best placement was making to the quarterfinals in singles and the semifinals in doubles … also played soccer. 

Personal: Daughter of Jonas and Annika Axelsson … has a sister Hanna who plays tennis at East Carolina in addition to her cousin Adam who plays at Gardner Webb … majoring in Business Administration and hopes to study international relations to help solve global issues … favorite athlete is Formula One driver Lando Norris … Good Will Hunting is her favorite movie … lasagna is her favorite meal.
