Briana Galeazzi joined the Towson University staff as an athletic trainer in January 2020. She works primarily with the volleyball and tennis teams.
Galeazzi comes to Towson from Marist College, where she worked as an assistant athletic trainer for over five years. She was the athletic trainer for the women’s soccer, men’s lacrosse, and men’s/women’s swimming & diving teams. She also was an adjunct professor for the Physical Education Department, teaching Movement in Sport.
During her time in the Hudson Valley, Galeazzi also worked as a clinical research assistant at West Point for the NCAA and DOD Grand Alliance CARE Consortium, a longitudinal study about concussions and their impact.
Prior to Marist, she spent two years at Gardner-Webb University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the Runnin’ Bulldogs football team. While at Gardner-Webb, she earned her Master’s in Sports Science and Pedagogy.
Galeazzi graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training, spending all four years working as an athletic training student. She was also a preceptor at each Marist and Gardner-Webb.
She is a BOC certified athletic trainer and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
