Alex Lerner joins Towson as a volunteer assistant coach at the start of the 2024 spring season.
Prior to Towson, Alex began his tennis career as a head tennis professional for Hillendale Country Club from May 2011 – September 2015. In addition to being a head tennis professional, he was also the director of youth development and the manager for the men’s B-League, men’s B&P League and Junior Interclub teams.
Alex was also the assistant head coach for the girls varsity tennis team at Garrison Forest High School from September 2012 – September 2015. He trained both singles and doubles but specialized in #1 and #2 singles.
During his tenure at Hillendale and Garrison Forest, he was also the director of tennis and a racket sports liaison at Bare Hills Racquet and Fitness from 2015 – 2017.
A Towson alumni, Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2016.
